Opening Times

The Geniemuseum is open on:

• Tuesday – 10:00 to 16:00
• Wednesday – 10:00 to 16:00
• Thursday – 10:00 to 16:00

Please allow enough time for your visit, especially if you wish to explore both the museum building and the Genie Garden.

Closure Dates

The museum may occasionally close due to operational requirements or regimental events. Any planned closures are announced in advance.

Announced closure dates in 2026

• Thursday, 9 April – Regimental gathering
• Tuesday, 12 May – Corps Day of the Regiment of Military Engineers
• Thursday, 9 July – Regimental gathering

National Holidays

The museum is closed on national holidays that fall on regular opening days:

• Tuesday, 5 May – Liberation Day
• Thursday, 14 May – Ascension Day

Unplanned Closures

In exceptional circumstances, the museum may close at short notice. Any updates will be published on our website.

Admission Fees

• Adults (18+): €6.00
• Children (5–17): €3.00
• Children (0–4): free
• Dutch Museum Card holders: free

Check‑in on Arrival

The museum is located on an active military site. Please report to the reception desk inside the museum building to register your visit and purchase your ticket. Without check‑in, the gate guard may ask you to leave the premises.
